Marlborough Wine & Food Festival 2024

TICKET TERMS & CONDITIONS

By purchasing a ticket to the Marlborough Wine & Food Festival (the Event) you agree to the terms and conditions set out by the Wine Marlborough Ltd (the Promoter) below. These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with all statements and directives shown or displayed on your Ticket, on-site at the Event, on the Promoter’s website and social media pages, or otherwise communicated by the Promoter from time to time.

1. If the Event cannot take place (in whole or in part) due to an event, circumstance, or situation outside of the Promoter’s reasonable control (including but not limited to any act of God, natural disaster, fire, flood, council or government sanction or order, actions or decisions of police or other authorities, act of terrorism, war or industrial action, or cancellation by the Venue owner, lessee or controller) (“Force Majeure Event”) then the Promoter may, at their sole discretion may cancel or amend the Event.

2. In the event of a cancellation, your ticket price will be 100% refundable (excluding payment fees by payment provider). However, if the Event is postponed, relocated or changed for whatever reason, the Promoter shall not be liable for any additional compensation, loss or other expenses such as transport or accommodation.

3. Unless the Event is cancelled, tickets are non-refundable or transferable.

4. These terms and conditions can be updated by the Promoter at any time without warning.

5. Admission is at the Ticket Holders own risk. The Promoter will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained at the Event including damage, theft, illness, or losses to property.

6. The Marlborough Wine & Food Festival is strictly R18+. This means that no person under the age of 18 will be admitted, regardless of their circumstances. This includes babies, infants and children.

7. The Ticket Holder may be required to provide proof of age when arriving at the Event, when purchasing alcohol or at any time this is requested by authorised personnel. ID must take the form of one of the following types of identification: A HANZ Card, Kiwi Access Card, a New Zealand Drivers License, New Zealand or Foreign Passport.

8. A photographer may be present at the Event capturing imagery on behalf of The Marlborough Wine & Food Festival/ Wine Marlborough Ltd. By entering the Event you agree to any images that you may be included in can be used as promotional content publications or marketing material, including but not limited to website, social media channels and printed collateral. If you do not wish to be photographed, please politely ask our photographer to not photograph you.

9. The Marlborough Wine & Food Festival will be a 100% cashless event, for your convenience and to minimise cash handling we are using a festival bank system that helps reduce queues at stalls, improves access control, and supports the health and safety of all personal on site. No wine or food stall will accept cash or Eftpos. Festival currency can be bought by cash, credit and debit card at the available AWOP top up stations on site. You will be given the opportunity to pre-purchase preloaded wristbands which will be given to you on site once you have presented your ticket.

10. The Ticket Holder consents to and will permit to the search and inspection of his or her person, clothing, bags or other possessions by any registered crowd controller of the proprietor of the venue and/or the Promoter of the event.

11. Management reserves the right to prohibit entry of all persons under the influence of drugs and alcohol, showing disorderly or inappropriate behaviour.

12. No food or beverage may be taken to the Event. If you have a strict allergy and need to bring your own food, you must apply for an exemption by emailing events@wine-marlborough.co.nz. If granted, you must have your exemption letter with you at the Event.

13. If permission is given when purchasing a ticket to the Event, the Ticket Holders consent to their contact details being used by the Promoter for communication about the event and subsequently any future events organised by the Promoter. The Ticket Holder can unsubscribe at any time.

14. Attendance information will be collected and may be disclosed to the Ministry of Health should the need arise. All attendees will be required to comply with the Ministry of Health Guidelines.

15. The Event is 100% smokefree, any patron smoking on site may be asked to leave the event.
